Noah Clowney, former Alabama hoops standout, invited to NBA Draft green room

Noah Clowney, a former Alabama basketball standout who starred alongside Brandon Miller and the No. 1 Tide last season, has received an invite to the NBA Draft green room.
The green room usually invites around 20 of the top players in the draft, those expected to be taken with a top pick in the draft. The staging area is meant to host the players, families and agents ahead of their selection in the draft.
The NBA is selective about who is invited to the room for a reason. After all, nobody wants to just sit there while the names of others are called ahead of you. For that reason, it seems Clowney’s outlook of being a top 15/20 prospect is indeed as solid as it is thought.

And Clowney earned every bit of his invite, too. The 6-10 one-and-done is a rebounding machine and a highly efficient scorer from within the 3-point arc. He only shot 3-pointers at a 28% clip at Alabama, which is why he is not considered a guaranteed lottery pick.
However, his size and 2-way ability makes him one of the top options outside of the top 15. Look for potentially Utah or Miami to grab Clowney at 16 or 18th, respectively, come draft night.
