Pete Golding is one of the best recruiters in the country, routinely landing top high school talent for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
So, what’s the secret to the defensive coordinator’s success when it comes to recruiting 4- and 5-star guys to come play for Nick Saban?
Well, Golding was asked what his “living room pitch” is during Alabama’s Media Day on Sunday, and as you can see below, he delivered a simple, yet perfect, response:

“I work for the greatest coach of all-time at the University of Alabama, what the hell is wrong with you?” Golding quipped.
Clearly, that recruiting pitch is working. Currently, Alabama has the No. 2 recruiting class in the 2023 cycle, behind only Notre Dame, per 247Sports.
