As of Tuesday, only one member of Alabama’s 2018 recruiting class had not enrolled at UA. The enrollment won’t be happening any time soon, according to a report Tuesday.
4-star WDE Jordan Davis out of Southwind in Memphis has enrolled at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi, according to AL.com’s Michael Casagrande. Jordan Davis’ new coach, Glenn Davis, confirmed to AL.com that the younger Davis arrived on campus last week.
Measuring 6-5, 238 pounds, Jordan Davis was rated the No. 108 overall prospect in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He was also rated the No. 6 weak-side defensive end and No. 2 recruit in the state of Tennessee.
Jordan Davis originally committed to Alabama in December 2016 and signed early in December 2017. He also had scholarship offers from Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
Alabama signed a class of 21 players, which ranked No. 6 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC. The 20 other signees have enrolled.
