WATCH: Alabama WR commit Thaiu Jones-Bell torches defense on 74-yard TD

Does a big-time playmaker going to Alabama from South Florida sound familiar?

Well, it should, because the Tide went into Miami to nab both Amari Cooper and Jerry Jeudy, among others. Now, it appears the Tide have another one on their hands.

Miami Carol City receiver Thaiu Jones-Bell torched Deerfield Beach’s defense for a 74-yard touchdown Saturday on ESPN. Jones-Bell ran right by the cornerback for a big score. We can’t complement the touchdown without giving freshman quarterback Kewone Jenkins some love, too.

Jones-Bell is rated a 4-star prospect and ranks as the nation’s No. 15 overall receiver and the state of Florida’s No. 14 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He committed to Alabama in late May.
