The feel good story of Saturday surrounded Bret Bielema’s decision to insert injured RB Jonathan Williams into the game while the Razorbacks were in the victory formation during their Liberty Bowl win against Kanasas State.
On Sunday, Williams took to social media to express his thanks to his coach:
Williams was expected to be front end of a star-studded RB duo with Alex Collins this season, but a preseason foot injury cost the senior the entire season.
He is presumably headed for the NFL, where he has a good chance of having some success if his foot has healed appropriately.
