Report: Arkansas QB Austin Allen not expected to start against Alabama

One of the big storylines in Fayetteville this week has been the health of QB Austin Allen after he injured his shoulder last weekend against South Carolina.
Playing against No. 1 Alabama on Saturday night, it’s never wise to put an injured player out there against the Crimson Tide defense.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Allen is expected to miss Saturday’s game, according to the most recent reports:

Redshirt freshman QB Cole Kelley will now likely start in Allen’s place — a tough task for his first-career start.
Maybe something will change in the hours leading up to the game, but for now, the Hogs will play it safe with their star quarterback.
