Although Lockett is very early into his high school career, he has already piled up an impressive amount of offers.
The SEC schools who showed interest in him include Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
Lockett is Arkansas’ first official commitment out of the 2026 class. The only other SEC program who had a commit from the 2026 cycle before Thursday was South Carolina with 4-star QB commit Landon Ducksworth.
Lockett has experience in playing on both sides of the ball and led his high school team in interceptions as a freshman last season.
