The Auburn Tigers are struggling in Game 1 of the NCAA Baseball Tournament super-regional round on Saturday, but freshman Edouard Julien is doing what he can to keep the Tigers in the game.
The Tigers’ designated hitter picked up an RBI early in the game, giving him 69 for the season — an impressive mark for a freshman.
In fact, it’s now a school record, as Julien has passed legendary Auburn player and MLB Hall of Famer Frank Thomas in the Auburn record books:

The future is bright for the young star, who will be back on The Plains next year as well.
He’ll be a great piece for Auburn to build its offense around, and we’ll see if he can pick up even more RBI in 2019.
