Auburn in trouble? Fans torch Tigers as team trails New Mexico State late
By Ethan Stone

Auburn football seems to be looking ahead to the Iron Bowl and forgot it has a game this weekend.
The Tigers are currently trailing New Mexico State 17-7 entering the 4th quarter. Auburn’s offense has only totaled 148 yards while the defense has allowed well over 300.
Now, New Mexico State is no slouch. The Aggies are one of the top teams in the CUSA and sit at 8-3 on the year. That doesn’t mean there’s an excuse for Auburn to be playing as badly as they are right now.
Fans agree. Hoards of Tigers fans took to social media to roast the Tigers for their play thus far. Check out the best reactions below:

This is the most flat uninspired game I’ve seen in a long time. You have to treat opponents the same especially a team that is about to play in a conference title. We got popped in the mouth and haven’t responded.
This is ridiculous.

Chin up, Auburn fam. History tells us this is nothing that can’t be fixed with another buyout.
