Auburn linebacker Kameron Brown is entering the transfer portal.

Brown announced that news on Wednesday afternoon. He departs after spending the past 4 seasons with the Tigers.

Here’s his announcement:

“This has been a difficult decision because of the love of Auburn in my heart and my family,” Brown wrote in-part. “With that being said, I’d like to enter my name int he portal as a graduate transfer. As I will be graduating this spring from Auburn University!”

Brown is entering the portal as a graduate transfer, so he does not have to wait until May 1 for the start of the next transfer window.

Brown was primarily used as depth on defense and special teams over the past 4 seasons with the Tigers. He didn’t record any statistics during his time with the team.

He was a 3-star prospect in the class of 2019. He ranked as the No. 94 inside linebacker in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Auburn’s annual spring game will be played on April 8.
