Stidham was a 4th round pick by the Patriots in the 2019 NFL Draft. He’s served mostly as a backup quarterback in the NFL, but he did start 2 games in 2022.
With Denver, Stidham is expected to back-up starting quarterback Russell Wilson. He has thrown for 926 yards and 6 touchdowns so far in his NFL career. He’ll also be playing under new Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb, who is a longtime friend according to Rapoport.
While at Auburn, Stidham produced 2 quality seasons for the Tigers. He completed 63.6% of his passes for 5,952 yards, 36 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions from 2017-18.
