Paul Finebaum and Laura Rutledge traveled to Columbiana, Ala. Wednesday for the funeral of late Auburn superfan Tammy Bullard. The passionate Tigers supporter was one of the most well-known callers of “The Paul Finebaum Show.”

Reporter Rick Karle of WBRC posted on Facebook about Finebaum and Rutledge attending the funeral without fanfare. Finebaum also spoke at the funeral and shared that he had even received from Terry Saban passing along condolences from her and her husband.

Bullard and her granddaughter tragically died last week Friday when a commercial truck overturned U.S. 280 in Alabama and crashed into their SUV. Finebaum dedicated the last hour of that Friday show to Bullard, known as “Tammy from Clanton,” encouraging callers to share their favorite Tammy stories. On that show, Rutledge shared that as a frequent co-host on the SEC Network show she had also gotten to know Bullard.
