SEC commissioner Greg Sankey comments on Auburn potentially moving to the SEC East

In recent weeks, momentum for an Auburn move to the SEC East has seemingly been building. Former coach Pat Dye re-introduced the idea, followed by many others — including current coach Gus Malzahn — saying they’d be in favor of switching divisions with Mizzou.
However, such a move still faces an uphill climb, and it doesn’t seem SEC commissioner Greg Sankey is on board with the plan.
Yes, the move makes sense geographically, but Sankey said at spring meetings on Tuesday that Auburn fans hoping for the move shouldn’t hold their breath:
Greg Sankey is essentially making fun of the Auburn to the SEC East discussion. Says it’s not talked about except int he media.

Sankey on the Auburn to the SEC East: "It's not on the agenda." Sankey is making fun of the entire discussion brought up by Pat Dye.

For now, it appears the Tigers will be stuck in the brutal SEC West division, where they’ll continue to have yearly matchups against Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M and the rest of the division.
As it stands, though, it seems to be a media-driven storyline that Sankey doesn’t particularly enjoy addressing.
