Shon Coleman was a standout offensive lineman at Auburn, working his way up to becoming a third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Back in 2017, Coleman was a mainstay in the Cleveland Browns’ offensive line, starting all 16 games for the team. But, since then, he hasn’t played in a regular-season NFL game.

Now, though, the former Tiger is getting another NFL chance. Per Chicago Bears insider Chris Emma, the team is signing Coleman to a contract and waiving punter Ryan Winslow:

Coleman spent the 2018-20 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and spent some time with the Indianapolis Colts late last season. But, he didn’t appear in any games for either squad.

Can he earn a roster spot with the Bears? We’ll see how he fares as the preseason gets underway this summer.
