The Hoover-Pinson Valley high school football game on ESPN is a showcase of two top Auburn commits — QB Bo Nix (Pinson Valley) and WR George Pickens.
Both players are 4-star athletes in the 2019 class, and both have had strong showings in the first half of Saturday’s game.
Pickens has two touchdown catches, and after a slow start, Nix got on the board with this nice pass while rolling out to his right:
Here comes @Pinson_Football!
On 3rd and 10, Bo Nix lays a BEAUTY on the hands of Keyonteze Johnson and the Indians are on the board.

Making things even better was the fact that Nix had a sure touchdown pass dropped on the play below, so he showed great resilience by coming back and making another great throw.
Pinson Valley trails 24-7 at halftime, but if Nix gets hot, that can change in a hurry heading into the second half.
