Dabo Swinney takes heat on social media after Clemson’s OT loss to Florida State

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers faced what many considered a do-or-die game against the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday afternoon in front of a home crowd.
A loss would likely spell the end of Clemson’s College Football Playoff hopes, which were already on life support after a season-opening loss at Duke.
The Tigers fought hard, forcing overtime, but ultimately came up short, falling 31-24 in the first OT. Now at 2-2, Clemson is likely out of the CFP discussion moving forward.
Let’s just say fans are getting fed up with Swinney and this team’s struggles. Here’s a sampling of social media reaction after the Seminoles beat the Tigers for the first time since 2014:

Swinney is seemingly losing all goodwill he built up with his national championship seasons. It appears his unwillingness to land talent in the transfer portal has caught up to him.
How many more losses will Clemson suffer before the 2023 season is over? We’ll find out as the Tigers face more tough ACC competition.
