Ancil D. Brown was a college football coach for three seasons in the early 1900’s, and coached for two seasons at the University of Arkansas from 1904-1905. His teams went 4-5 and 2-6, respectively. Brown passed away in 1960 at the age of 86.
A former newspaper reporter who has roamed the southeastern United States for years covering football and eating way too many barbecue ribs, if there is such a thing.
