Gibbs was hired as defensive coordinator at Georgia in 2000. He took over a Georgia defense that struggled and ranked at the bottom of the league in yards allowed and passing yards the previous season. Prior to joining Jim Donnan’s staff, Gibbs was the defensive coordinator and head coach at Oklahoma.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
