Caleb Williams has not made a decision on whether or not he will declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.
The star USC quarterback told the Los Angeles Times Tuesday that it is still a “game-time decision” whether or not he will forgo his final season of eligibility and enter the Draft. The deadline to make such a decision is January 15.
Willaims is widely considered to be the No. 1 overall pick if he does decide to enter the draft, or at the very least a top 5 pick depending on the situation of the team selecting No. 1 overall. Currently, that No. 1 pick would go to the Chicago Bears via Carolina.
It’s not hard seeing why, either. Williams and the Trojans may have finished 7-5 this season, but the blame can hardly go to Williams, who finished the season with 3,633 passing yards, 30 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
The former Oklahoma QB won the Heisman trophy in 2022 after throwing 42 touchdowns with 4,537 passing yards.
Will Williams enter the draft or stay in college?
