Lee Corso is back with the boys after broadcasting live from his home in Week 0. College GameDay is back in Columbus this week for the monumental showdown between Ohio State and Notre Dame.
Ohio State is the first school where Corso put on the headgear many years ago, and now, it’s a longstanding tradition on the pregame show.
Just prior to the show starting on Saturday morning, Herbstreit posted a video with Corso asking him about his Ohio State vs. Notre Dame prediction, and the analyst threatened to not make a headgear pick.
“This is a tough game for me to pick, because Ohio State has Brutus, but I’m Catholic,” Corso said. “I can’t pick against Notre Dame.”
Corso picked Ohio State to win the national championship during his preseason predictions, Herbstreit reminded him.
“Yeah, but I can’t pick against Notre Dame. So, I’m not going to pick this week. Flash, I’m not going to pick a headgear this week. Everybody thinks there’s going to be a headgear, but I’m going to walk off with no headgear.
So, I don’t pick.”
Corso ended up relenting on his stance, and he whispered the Buckeyes over the Catholics.

Could this be the first week ever LC doesn't make a headgear pick???
It's hard for him to pick between Brutus and the Irish! ? pic.twitter.com/inRi4Bm8dO
