Dang, the '9lbHammer' completely owned my inability to "string a sentence together" with that excellent capitalization.
I valued his trivia a LOT more than his picks. And I thought it was great when they started cutting to him from time to time. But then it got to be much more frequent. I guess he did like Rece Davis: "Give me more screen time or I'm gone." And they figured "gone" sounded better.
I thought the same thing. I'm no fashion expert, but the orange helmet would look better with orange pants.
Pruitt might turn into a great HC one day. The problem is that he's learning how to be a HC while he's trying to build a roster and re-develop culture. An experienced, proven HC wouldn't have the issue of learning to be a HC and all that it entails. Sure, Kirby seems to have made a good transition, but every situation is different and Smart didn't walk into a program that had been bouncing off the walls like a drunk in the men's room for 10 years. Maybe Pruitt develops into a great coach, maybe not. How patient will Vol Nation, Fulmer, and UT leadership be?
When a big play happens and she's calling it, she almost sounds excited... sorta, kinda.
What the heck? "Neat" site, I guess. But horrible for fan attendance.
No, it's probably not all he's got. I suspect he saves the good stuff for high-caliber responders.
So? It's consistent with their past press in the lead-up to this game.
Unfortunately I get the impression somebody did pay - to make them look that way. :)
Thanks for that perspective, Double-O. Do you have any links to said Vol's local boards? I'd love to have info from better sources than clickbait writers and people who are too emotionally invested in things to have an objective view.
You are correct. UT has had some serious issues at the top for some time. I've told others that I have to wonder if someone there had an interest in keeping UT athletics (esp. football) down. But in any case, top leadership has done some things the last 10 years that don't seem right for folks who are supposed to have the best interests of UT at heart.
John, based on your logic, Bama in the mid 2000s would not be a destination job after the Shula/Price debacles.
