This article is clueless Hooker has to be the front runner. The guy has a durable body, makes big-time runs, and has a better arm than all the others. Not to mention he has some real experience. As much as I love Bailey he would get hammered running an RPO type offense. Salter still has to build his body (stick) and arm strength while Hooker plows the way.
Totally agree with the internal power struggles and they go long and deep. At one point Bama went through the same thing until Saban told the school that if they do not unite he's not coming. sadly Fulmer's power move was to give Pruit that crazy contract extension. unfortunately This coup (that davenport laid on the sword for) has not done any better than Haslam did. This move was not Haslasm's move, Fulmer and Halasm loathe each other.
lol He just got a raise with a five-year extension. Now, our five-star commits have de-committed
We can't win If not Fulmer then Jimmy Haslam takes back control. After Dickey retired in 2002 our program went down the tubes.
Pruitt is not the guy, but Fulmer will never admit that. It's like watching Fumler/Sanders 2.0 and, in exchange, we have Pruitt/Friend 1.0 not to mention Weinke Have no clue why Fulmer would give an extension that the adim. would never buyout, for beating teams at the end of last season that the Vols should blowout??? Until this school is fully committed from the top down, including willing to pay in the upper Head coaching tier, we're stuck. I would have taken Kiffen back over this trainwreck. The best long haul QB is Bailey, so just stick with him. At least Bailey already knows how to check down his list of receivers during his progression and does not stare down one option.
Same here He's a great hire. Got to give Miss. St. a big... Kudos!!
Nope, you guys can thank Jimmy Haslam for the last 15 year cluster up hear, but he's in the back seat now, and Fulmer is in control, now. Everything Jimmy H. puts his hands on turns to crap. lol Hope he stays busy with his Browns.
Lol Fulmer's revenge!!! Seems to me the Vols were sure getting their fare share of wins over the Dawgs and ya'll need to close the deal and bring a NC home. Pulling for them Dawgs over here (bout time since 1980) and hope the entire East gets back on their feet.
Jimmy Haslam has been a one man wrecking crew to the Vols football program for over a decade. Bout time we stood up and told Jimmy "No More" and tossed him to the back of the bus, where he belongs. If anybody wants to know what happened to UT football over the past ten years. Jimmy Haslam stole our program and also has been picking our chancellors / Ads and head football coaches and he owns the Cleveland Browns. He's been put in his place and that was what the entire revolt was about. He had Fulmer fired to begin with and Volnation starts with a clean slate. GBO

Jimmy H. has been a one man wrecking crew to the Vols program over the pass decade. Thankfully Volnation stood up and said "NO More" to Jimmy and he was tossed to the back of the bus, where he belongs. GBO!!!

Hey Cody, How about writing an article about how Jimmy Haslam destroyed the Vols program? Or... Does he own you too?
+1 And Haslam has been sent to the back of the classroom.
"The Pirate" would be awesome to watch. Knowing Fulmer, figure the reset button has been pushed and letting be known to all coaches, that all is clear and the Vols are back in good hands.
Come back to the Vols Blackburn and bring Tee home with you.
Better be... or UT can eat the $340 million renovation to Neyland for the 100th year anniversary in 2021.
What in the world has Mullen done before and after 2014 besides Sexton getting him a big fat raise in 2017??? Must have faith in Currie, that Gruden's the man and so many better coaches out there than (turtle) Mullen.
What else is ESPN suppose to say??? "Gruden to the Hill"
