Geez man, your Big 12, Big 10 coonfusion just can’ t be fixed, huh?
My question is this. Absent UT/OU, is the Big 12 still a P5 conference?
True. The court has now redefined scholarship athletes as university employees. (The only means by which to apply antitrust to the NCAA's regulation.)
Yes, of course. Apologies, I'm quite inept on this iPhone. I deduced that from the context. This article is about denying the NCAA the power, the legal authority to regulate scholarship benefits and stipends. Your opening sentence was "Dismantling the NCAA’s power is a good thing." Therefore, my question. Otherwise, I agree with your post
@ GATOR4EVER clarification: remark that begged a question... the one AU Tville asked.
@ GATOR4EVER Okay cool, I need to go back to school. I just saw a trick question followed by an explanation :)
Even though I can’t explain it, don’t let them run you off. Roll Tide
Different computer... at my daughters house. I forget the reason I needed a new account for that.
No, that wouldn't help a bit because I too am old enough to remember but didn't.
@ X02 Bama fans yakity yak...spare me that BS.
I've only heard that argument applied to Bama players...which should tell ya where they're coming from:)
@ 40 Dang! One can't trust any of these homers. I guess I need to start fact checking 'em. :)
Sarcasm noted...for the benefit of those who don't know. :)
No, your opinion mimics a false narrative. If anything changes the balance in recruiting it will be NIL, not the allure of signing with a 'most deserving' expanded playoff team.
Thanks, that's what I thought. Assumed something had changed the way 108 was talking. Should have checked. :)
By whatever criterion, Alabama holds more than anyone else. >>> Bama claims a title for every undefeated season they had back in the day. False, 1966 comes to mind. >>> Two of those are false, according to the NCAA and the CFB HOF. At the time they were claimed by UA, those two were recognized by the NCAA. Apparently, that has since changed.
There's a better reason...like exactly what Saban said and has been saying for as long as I can recall.
