The chances are def higher than 5%. You just need the Aggies to not stub their toes against the weaker opponents left on the schedule. That's a 50% chance right there. The rest is out of our hands. You'd need basically just Bama and Clemson to win out which I'd put at 60%. Then it's just up to the committee to pick a 9-1 team over an undefeated Cincinnati or BYU which I'd say is likely, based on the way they've handled SOS in the past. 75% Which comes out to 23%. Which I'll gladly take.
Really no evidence at all to say the committee has a bias against A&M...
The East champion will have two losses after they gave Bama. That's zero shot. It's pretty similar to how Bama snuck into the playoff a few years ago despite Auburn winning the West with Georgia winning the conference but losing to Bama in the playoff.
Correction: Aggies forced just 1 pick against KJ Costello, not 3
How would 9-1 A&M not be ranked ahead of a two loss Florida with a head to head win?
After Bama, the Aggies have the best win in the SEC over your #2 Florida. A&M's offense is as good as Georgia's defense and vice versa. Punishing A&M for being outgained by Arkansas when the game was 42-17 in the 4th quarter is weak. And A&M is sitting at 4-1 with the easiest half of the schedule still to come.
Um, Bratton, did you even read the Bjork response you quoted? "I’ve been here over a year & no one from there has asked me to play them." That does not in any way give further credibility towards what Herman and Texas are saying.
