Unless you have been at games in Lincoln, you simply don't understand the fanbase......they are different from all others. They will applaud the opponent and give a standing ovation when outplayed, and they are hysterically loyal to a quality individual---but he has to prove himself first. Frost offended his state by deserting them at first, but won back their love through his work...remember, his parents were Nebraska Olympians. They are the farthest thing from nasty.....they just hated how Riley was hired and had grown tired of man-child-tantrum-idiot Pelini. And Callahan insulted their traditions.....Solich was fired by an incompetent AD, but always had the fans with him.

We assume here he would be awesome.

1) Outbid Nebraska.....not so fast.....they have Warren Buffet in their suites. 2) He is timing his return home with patience.....in the SEC, when you retire, they kick you to the curb....in Nebraska, they send you to Congress and you are a folk hero. Where would you want to build a program for the next 25 years.

I assume you don't travel because of where your live, but check out the quality of life scores from ANY quality rating organization, and see where Lincoln ranks. And as far as the "floundering program" goes, even with 15 years of crap from our football team, see who has won the most football games over the past 50 years....it isn't Alabama or Ohio State. Let's face it....take Huntsville and NASA out of that state, and the college educated percent of adults drops by 50%---lucky the US government gave you that.....WAIT...you guys HATE government down there don't you.
