Vegas line had OU by 3. Everybody wanted UT to win but lets be realistic, did you really expect them to win? I know I wanted them to but OU is a good team and the fact it went to 2 OTs was a good indication of how tight everyone thought it would be. UT came out hot, caught OU on their heels but in the end OU adjusted and we didn't. Coaching for sure was a huge factor. CBJ admitted that much. Some of it was Dobbs folding under pressure, whether by his own account or play calling. True, we got some bum calls. That end zone interference call was a joke. If the ball was catchable, then yes but we got hosed on that one. When you play that many freshman, things happen. Again, patience is the key.

Read your boards.....CBJ took full responsibility. You can call me a knucklehead but facts are facts. Never said I was the "speaker of the house". My opinion. What burns my butt is idiots like yourself that are already calling for CBJ firing and that "you lost respect". TN has a very young and talented team......they will get there. 1) First, for all you fair weather TN fans.........go root for AL. 2) UT wasn't expected to win that game. It would have been nice but remember, they lost to Oklahoma 34-10 last year. 3) Pissing and moaning about the refs is bush league. Did it make an outcome in the game? Yes. Did UT over come it? No. 4) Losing Magitt had a influence on the defense, no doubt. They could target pass rush from one side only. 5) Dobbs, although a great QB, needs work in the pocket under pressure. OU figured that out and keyed on him. If he had aired it out a few times then maybe it would have free up some space for the running attack. Debord has some work to do. Is Dobbs good? Yes. Of course, he needs some work. He is a smart kid, he will figure it out. 6) Too much hype going into the season. All of the "10 win season" fanatics who drank the Koolaid don't remember this was going to be a marginally better year. 8-4 if they are lucky and 7-5 if they are not. This is a really young team. 7) Georgia will have their hands full as well as Florida. Bowling Green, OU and WCU will be adjustment games for the SEC games. 8) Ignorance can be educated, crazy can be medicated, but you can't do anything about stupid......ADB your mother should have taught you that because you are a special kind of stupid. 9) CBJ will do fine.
