Comments talking about firing Butch Jones just show an overreaction. Should we have won the game? Yes. Should we fire our head coach and hope we can get someone even close to on par with Butch Jones. No way. This is the kind of thinking that got Fulmer fired. TN fans just weren't satisfied with a coach that up until the point he was fired had 1 losing season, 1 national title, the only SEC back to back championships of the last two decades, and whose team won the SEC east the year before he got axed with a 10-4 record. Fulmer had 9 years with at least 10 wins in a season. People say he was on a "downward slide" when he won 4 SEC east titles in his last 8 years. Please, before TN goes picking up and dumping coaches for another decade, give Butch till the end of next season. I see so much potential in this team. Sometimes you don't know how good you have it until it goes away. Anyone remember Derek Dooley? Nuff said. (mic drop)
