How can you be satisfied when your three biggest rivals dominate you every year? Bama has not had a “bad” team in years but LSU and UGA have both had very beatable teams in the Malzahn era and he consistently underperforms against them. With such an elite defense we could be setting at 9-1 or 10-0 right now with a competent offense. I don’t think it’s demanding too much of an offensive minded coach to produce that. Promoting Kevin Steele to HC at least would keep most of the defensive recruits which it seems is what we should be building around. I loved the guy when he first arrived but everything has a shelf life including SEC coaches.
