Anthony Richardson’s NFL Draft Combine measurments revealed

Anthony Richardson is a dark horse prospect for a top 5 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. After his combine measurements were revealed, buzz is starting to pick up around the former Gators signal caller.
And it isn’t hard to see why. Richardson is an athletic specimen, weighing in at 6-foot-4, 244 pounds with 10.5 inch hands at the NFL Combine. For reference, Cam Newton’s NFL Combine numbers were 6-foot-5, 248 pounds.
Richardson is essentially the size of Derrick Henry playing quarterback.

Is Anthony Richardson a true QB1 in the NFL?
Richardson was considered to be QB4 off the board right at the end of the college football season, but his size alone is moving him up draft boards, even before his combine measurements came out.
His college stats tell another story about Richardson, though. Like Kentucky’s Will Levis, Richardson struggled against Power 5 competition while Bryce Young and CJ Stroud did not. He threw for just 17 touchdowns with 9 interceptions. He does have a cannon, but he ran into accuracy problems with the Gators.
He does bring another skill to the table, though; his speed. He was an excellent runner this past season, totaling 654 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns in 2022.
Can that translate? It may depend on the system of his future NFL squad.
