Florida will be hosting a transfer defensive lineman later this month. Jermayne Lole, an Arizona State transfer, shared that he’ll be visiting Billy Napier’s program on May 20.

As a recruit, Lole was a 3-star prospect in the class of 2018 on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with ASU over 13 other scholarship offers. Lole played in 28 games over 3 seasons (2018-20) but missed the Sun Devils’ 2021 campaign due to a triceps injury. In his career, Lole has recorded 123 tackles, including 20 for loss and 11 sacks, along with 8 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.

On March 31, Napier told reporters during spring practice, “The University of Florida, is going to be very aggressive in the portal. We need players.”

With Lole identified as one of those players the Gators need, we’ll see if Napier’s staff can land a commitment. Lole will also be visiting Louisville, Oregon and Texas Tech.
