Billy Napier, Anthony Richardson under fire on social media as Florida struggles against Missouri

Florida is taking on Missouri at home Saturday and it has been a struggle for the Gators, especially offensively.

The Tigers’ Harrison Mevis kicked a 28-yard field goal with 20 seconds to play before halftime to tie the game at 10 heading to intermission.

The points came after a fumble late in the 2nd quarter by Florida QB Anthony Richardson.

In addition to the fumble, Richardson completed just 4-of-8 passes for 46 yards in the opening 30 minutes.

And as a team, the Gators managed less than 60 yards of total offense in the 1st half against a solid Tigers defense.

Still, and not surprisingly given the 1st-half performance, Napier and Richardson are getting heavily criticized on social media.

Napier’s play calling and clock management at the end of the 1st half particularly came under fire:
