Billy Napier and Florida will have a tough recovery from the 45-35 LSU loss, as the Gators built a 14-7 lead, and then scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, but still fell short.
The Gators gave up 528 yards to the Tigers as Jayden Daniels accounted for 6 touchdowns on 349 passing yards, and 44 rushing yards.
It’s the first time Florida has lost 4 straight to LSU since 1977-80.
Here’s what Napier shared with the media after the game:
‘Our football needs to get better,’ Billy Napier said. ‘There’s no shortcuts here. When you have to go through every bit of adversity, it’s not easy.’
