Brenton Cox Jr. is a key part of Florida’s defense, and the Gators are going to be tested on that side of the ball when No. 1 Alabama comes to town on Saturday afternoon.

However, Cox is confident in himself and his teammates ahead of the big game.

During a media interview on Tuesday afternoon, Cox said the Gators are ready. Then, he questioned if the Crimson Tide were ready for the Gators:

Of course, calling out the Tide hasn’t worked out well for previous foes, but you have to appreciate Cox’s confidence.

The Gators lost to the Tide in the SEC Championship Game last year, 52-46. We’ll see if they can turn the tides (pun intended) this Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on CBS.
