Dameon Pierce had another big game for Houston on Sunday.

The former Florida standout has emerged early in the 2022 season for the Texans as one of the top rookies in the NFL.

Pierce had 26 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown in Houston’s 13-6 win over Jacksonville.

Included was a ridiculous run that can be seen in the tweet below in which he broke numerous tackles.

Pierce now has 412 rushing yards in the first 5 games of his NFL career, which nearly equals what the Texans’ leading rusher a year ago compiled all season.

His play has also earned him praise from Houston coach Lovie Smith, who said Sunday, “He’s doing what a No. 1 running back in the NFL should do.”

Pierce was selected by the Texans in the 4th round of 2022 NFL Draft with the 107th overall pick.

He rushed for 1,806 yards and 23 touchdowns during his 4 years in Gainesville.
