After one season and two career appearances as a Gator, Dionte Marks is moving on from Gainesville.

The redshirt freshman receiver recently entered the NCAA transfer portal and has already made his decision regarding his next college home as Marks is headed to UCF.

“First and foremost, I would like to thank the University of Florida for the amazing opportunity to be apart of a fantastic program,” Marks posted online. “Also, I want to thank everyone who has helped me become a better man from the time of me being there. Coach Mullen, Coach Gonzalez, and all the other coaches including the staff. With that being said, I’ll be transferring to the University of Central Florida.”

Marks’ two appearances during his true freshman season came against UT Martin and Towson last fall.

Marks signed with Florida during the 2019 recruiting cycle and was rated as a three-star prospect. He was the nation’s No. 57 overall receiver prospect after catching 45 passes for 964 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior season for Deland High School.
