Jarvis’ Yale career began in 2019-20, the college basketball season that ended prematurely due to COVID-19. The Ivy League did not hold a 2020-21 season due to the ongoing pandemic.
Over 3 seasons, Jarvis saw his playing time steadily increase. He was a bench contributor in 10 games in 2019-20, averaging 4.3 minutes per contest. In 2021-22, he was up to 17 minutes per game, making 5 starts in 22 total appearances.
Jarvis became a regular starter this past season. In 29 games (21 starts), Jarvis averaged 11.4 points and 5.5 rebounds over 22.3 minutes per game.
Coming off of a 16-17 season in Golden’s first year, Florida is looking to rebuild its roster after 5 players entered the NCAA transfer portal. Star big man Colin Castleton and guards Myreon Jones and Kyle Lofton have completed their college careers.
