Florida is on a roll this men’s hoops season, and the Gators are now champions of the Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament.

It wasn’t looking good for long stretches of Thursday night’s title game against Ohio State, as the Buckeyes held the lead for much of the game.

But, with the score tied 68-68 late in the second half, the Gators had the ball. More specifically, Tyree Appleby had the ball, and he made this incredible shot to win the game:

It was a rough night for Appleby outside of that game-winning shot, as he went 2-for-10 from the floor and was 0-for-2 from 3-point range before that buzzer-beater. He finished with 8 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound and 1 steal.

But, when his team needed him most, he rose to the occasion and buried the long-range prayer. Florida is now 5-0 on the season and should be ranked much higher than No. 23 when the next AP Poll is released.
