Florida coaching search: ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III says UF should hire Tim Tebow
While Louisiana head coach Billy Napier seems to be the top candidate in Florida’s head coaching search, ESPN college football analyst Robert Griffin III brought up one name that might surprise some Gator fans as who he thinks should be the next head coach: former Florida quarterback and Heisman winner Tim Tebow.
Griffin shared why Florida should give the wild-card candidate a look during his appearance on “The Paul Finebaum Show” Friday on the SEC Network.
Florida should hire Tim Tebow as it’s next Head Coach. Let him be a passionate motivator and recruiter to restore it to greatness. Surround him with 3-4 previous head coaches on his staff to help develop the vision and implementation of the program. Let the OC and DC coach. https://t.co/PS1yHDZF82

Tebow has yet to express his interest in coaching but who knows? If mama calls, Tebow might at least be willing to listen.
