Florida has shared significant updates to its injury report ahead of the Week 5 road trip to Kentucky.
A pair of key players on offense are back in the starting lineup on the latest depth chart. Freshman wide receiver Eugene “Tre” Wilson III left the Tennessee game with a collarbone injury and did not play against Charlotte in Week 4. Starting center Kingsley Eguakun has missed 3 of 4 contests due to injury. Both players are listed as starters for the Kentucky game.

Wilson caught 6 passes for 44 yards on Florida’s opening drive in the Week 3 upset win over Tennessee. He exited in the first half and did not return, but still finished as the Gators’ leading receiver in the game.
A former 4-star prospect out of Gaither in Tampa, Wilson committed to Florida over Texas A&M and others. Also a high school track star, Wilson’s blazing speed has translated well to the football field. Wilson has 12 catches for 104 yards along with 2 rushes for 27 yards in his freshman season.
Eguakun is in his 5th season at UF and is considered a redshirt junior with the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver applied. He started all 13 games at center for the Gators in each of the past 2 seasons.
Florida and Kentucky are set for a noon kickoff in Lexington, with the game broadcasting on ESPN. The Wildcats are favored by 1.5 points at DraftKings.
