The Florida Gators made a huge addition to their 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday night, and they went into enemy territory to do it.
Dan Mullen and his staff landed 4-star 2019 OLB Mohamoud Diabate, an Auburn native, who chose the Gators over Alabama and Auburn.
As you can see in the video below, shared by AL.com on YouTube, Diabate announces that he’ll be heading to Gainesville next fall:
According to the 247Sports composite, Diabate is the No. 10 outside linebacker in the class of 2019 and the No. 7 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.
The Gators now have 13 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 11 in the SEC and No. 29 nationally, per 247Sports.
