Thanks to a myriad of on-field deficiencies and coaching change rumors throughout the season, the Florida Gators’ 2014 recruiting class isn’t very deep.

And with only nine commitments, the Gators’ class just took another hit.

According to Ryan Bartow of 247sports.com, dual-threat QB Sheriron Jones from Moreno Valley, Calif., is now the third recruit to withdraw his commitment from Florida (Paywall) after the firing of head coach Will Muschamp.

Jones, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback, is the No. 141 overall recruit and eighth-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the 2014 recruiting class according to 247sports.

He originally committed to Florida back in June, but cited unfamiliarity with the new head coach as the reason for a change in his commitment. Jones was primarily recruited by offensive coordinator Kurt Roper and running backs coach Brian White.

Jones added Tennessee is now leading.
