Florida has seen an offensive lineman enter the transfer portal.

Jalen Farmer, a redshirt freshman OL, announced the news on his X account on Monday evening. He will have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Farmer, a Covington, Ga. product, was a 3-star recruit and the No. 31 inside OL in the country when he signed with Florida in 2022. As a true freshman, he saw time against Eastern Washington and South Carolina, ultimately redshirting that season. He played in 2 more games — against McNeese and Vanderbilt — in 2023.

The Gators saw several players announce their intentions to enter the portal leading up to its official opening on Monday. Jonathan Odom, a tight end, announced on Nov. 26, followed by freshman DL Will Norman and sophomore DB Kamari Wilson, a pair of former 4-star recruits, on Nov. 29.

Later that day, wide receiver Caleb Douglas, a 5-game starter in 2023 before being lost to injury, announced his own plans to enter the portal.
