Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks had a simple answer when asked about Gators head coach Jim McElwain’s future at the school.
It was the perfect response after the Gators were dominated all day in Jacksonville on Saturday, eventually losing 42-7 to rival Georgia and falling to 3-4 on the season.
Rumors began swirling during the game that Florida is looking into firing McElwain with cause.
“I’m not an athletic director,” Franks said when asked about about his head coach, according to a tweet from Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples.

Staples insinuated that other players were asked about McElwain’s job status, as well.
