Florida is on a recruiting hot streak right now that is paying off big time for the 2024 recruiting class. That roll kept going on Monday with another pledge for the Gators.

The player is Marcus Mascoll, a 3-star offensive tackle out of Georgia. The Gators beat out offers from LSU, NC State, UCF, Pitt and others for Mascoll’s commitment.

Mascoll is listed at 6-foot-4.5 and 292 pounds out of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia. He’s rated as a 3-star prospect and the 51st OT in the country per the 247 Sports Composite.

Mascoll joins a slew of prospects to commit to Florida’s 2024 recruiting class, giving Billy Napier’s program 8 commitments since June 12. That includes a slew of prospects over Father’s Day weekend with Florida jumping up to the No. 5 class for the cycle according to the 247 Sports Team Composite.

We’ll see how the rest of the cycle shakes out, but things are humming in Gainesville heading through the heart of the summer.
