Former Florida OT Richard Gouraige made it to the NFL Combine, but he won’t be performing any drills.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reports that Gouraige woke up with a swollen ankle attributed to a “pain tolerance test” during his medical exam. Due to the swelling, he won’t be taking part in the linemen showcase on Sunday in Indianapolis.

Gouraige was with Florida for 5 seasons. A multi-year starter at left tackle, he declared for the 2023 NFL Draft instead of using the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for a sixth season.

Projections before the Combine had Gouraige as a likely late-round pick. Gouraige may now need a strong showing at Florida’s Pro Day on March 30 to help his NFL Draft stock recover.
