Kadarius Toney’s time with the New York Giants has reportedly come to an end. The former Florida wide receiver is headed to Kansas City to play for the Chiefs.

Jordan Schultz of The Scores was first with the Toney trade news.

Toney is in his second professional season. After 4 seasons at Florida, Toney was selected No. 20 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.

As a rookie in 2021, Toney appeared in 10 games (4 starts) recording 39 catches for 420 yards. This season, Toney has appeared in just 2 games for the Giants.

Kansas City is on a bye in Week 8, which gives Toney some extra time to deal with a hamstring injury. We’ll see if Toney suits up for the Chiefs in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans.
