Kamran James, 4-star 2023 DL from Orlando, announces SEC commitment

Kamran James, a 4-star 2023 defensive lineman from Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida, is heading to Gainesville!
The home-state Florida Gators and the neighboring Georgia Bulldogs were James’s top schools, but he decided to stay closer to his home and play for Billy Napier’s squad.
As you can see below, he made his announcement during a ceremony at his school on Sunday afternoon:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, James is the No. 28 defensive lineman in the class of 2023 and the No. 39 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
The Gators now have 20 players in their 2023 recruiting class. Prior to James’s commitment, that class ranked No. 11 in the nation, per 247Sports.
