Steve Spurrier on best SEC jobs, returning to Florida, his visor and more
It’s the Head Ball Coach’s birthday, and to celebrate, he spoke with SEC Network’s Paul Finebaum.
Well, I’m sure Steve Spurrier has other plans on his 71st birthday, but he did spend a good chunk of it answering lots of interesting questions from Finebaum on Wednesday.
Among the notable things the candid coach had to say was in response to Nick Saban telling CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd that Georgia should be the best head coaching job in the SEC.

Some of the best in the business agree with Spurrier and Saban’s reasoning. Spurrier pointed specifically to recruiting as a factor.
@ClowESPN @TalalElmasrySDS Saban would tell you off record LSU job better than Bama job in general based on talent in 2 states,LSU on island

What’s the story with Spurrier’s infamous visor? He gave an awesome answer that makes all too much sense for the innovative coach.
