Former Florida do-it-all offensive player Trey Burton recorded his first NFL touchdown reception Monday night against the Bears.
Burton played for the Gators from 2010 to 2013, and he played quarterback, fullback, tight end and wide receiver. Burton is a versatile player, and that could keep him around in the NFL for a while.
In 50 career games at Florida, Burton recorded 720 rushing yards, 976 receiving yards and 20 total touchdowns. He once scored six touchdowns against Kentucky during his freshman season, breaking Tim Tebow’s record.
He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles after going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft.
A graduate of the University of Florida and founder of Saturday Down South, Kevin is a college football enthusiast.
