Xavier Filsaime, 5-star Florida commit, breaks free for 70-yard TD in high school game

Xavier Filsaime showed off his elite speed on Friday night for McKinney High School.
The 5-star recruit and Florida commit, who typically plays safety, got to see the field on offense tonight. Filsaime took a handoff to the house for a 70-yard TD to put his team up 7-0.

Filsaime is rated as the No. 2 safety in the nation, the No. 8 prospect out of Texas, and the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2024 class, per the 247Sports Composite ranking. Filsaime committed to the Florida Gators back in April.
The 5-star prospect helps give the Florida Gators the No. 3 2024 recruiting class as of now. Filsaime and QB DJ Lagway are the 5-star prospects committed to the Gators. Florida has 21 commitments overall in the class of 2024.
